Because of my wife...
Last night before going to bed, my wife, out of the blue, asked me if I had forgotten about my weblog. I didn't even know she read it, let alone kept up on it. Not that there is anything here she didn't already know; it just surprised me a bit.
Why? Well, uhmmm.... I just forgot.
I could give excuses like I have been really busy at work and stuff, and that would be valid, but honestly I just plain forgot.
In any case; I love my wife. She is my best friend and my companion. I tell her that I love her at least several times every single day and show that love in other ways as well. Some things I like about my wife:

In any case; I love my wife. She is my best friend and my companion. I tell her that I love her at least several times every single day and show that love in other ways as well. Some things I like about my wife:
- She is very smart and we can converse about most anything.
- She likes to cook and I like to eat, so that's a good thing. :)
- She is a wonderfull friend
- She doesnt' like the same movies as me, but she will sit throgh them, happily, just to be with me (I go to the theatre with her as well)
- Even though my children are grown up (both in college), she tries to be the best mom (stepmon) she can be and is genuinely concerned and cares for them.
- She is very active in our local church and though she doesn't feel that she has a "ministry", the things that she does do at church is a ministry and peopl emiss her and ask me about her when someone else has to get up and do the announcements.
- she is working at a local university and my kids get free tuition there. Her paycheck is otherwise pretty slim-pickens, but she says she loves what she does and I appreciate that.
- Mary has been putting up with my excentricities since day one, and I love her for not wanting to "train" or "change" me to be something I am not.
- She actually wil encourage me to go play some paintball now and again; she knows how much I like to play, but just don't seem to have the time for it.
- The most beautifull woman I know.
There really isn't any way that I can fully express how much I love my wife. lists will always fall short and words on paper are still only 2 dimensional. So the best I can do here is to just say:
I love Mary.

This was really sweet to read. I hope she counts herself a very lucky (or blessed, if you prefer) woman.
Oh, and it's time to update again. ;)
