Can you believe it's nearly June!?!?!?
Well, as it happens, I have been busy and just haven't had much priority time to blog. Most of my ranting and discussions and blogging can be found on various Internet forums, depending on their content will depend on the context/content of my posts. Not much of an excuse, but it's one I will use. :)
During the COGOP regional Ladies retreat that was in Des Moines a short while ago:

I was talking with a Sister Olfa Reyes, and she was telling me about their Israel trip that the Spanish Voice of Salvation sponsors for the COGOP. I already knew that they did a yearly trip to the "Holy Land", what I didn't realize was that every 7 years, they do a special "Exodus Tour", that is an extended trip starting in Egypt, going through Jordan and into Israel:

Mary and I have decided that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and that we do not want to miss it.
on other recent news, a mission church that was formed out of our local COGOP for a group of Hispanic folks here, has officially become a church:

The dedicatory service was great. I only wish I was fluent in Spanish. have been trying to study it from Pimsleur, but it seems that i have gotten really rusty and kinda in a rut since i have nobody to help me and practice being conversational with it.
Anyway - that's my blog for the day. I'll try to do better.
